Scheduling Requirement
The nature of the 1-800-flowers.com workload is dependent upon the number of customers that are placing orders. We typically have a steady flow of workload, however during peaks periods such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day our workload increases significantly. We refer to these periods as our “Gold Rush Periods.” During Gold Rush Periods, we require Home Agent Specialists to work 8 – 10 hour shifts on gold days. Gold days are generally 2 – 4 leading up to the day of the holiday and 1 – 3 days following the holiday. A land line, cell phone, or Voice over IP phone line with an inexpensive, unlimited calling plan.
We recommend having a caller ID block put on your phone so that people you are calling don't have your personal number.

TeleTech or Hire Point
Is a customer service based company. You have set hours, and last I heard $9.25 per hour.
I have heard good and bad about their communication, training, software and the rest. It also sounds like you either love them or hate them! LOL! It does look like they hire internationally as well. From what I gather the longer you work there the better your chances of getting the hours/projects that you wish to have.
The one thing I never heard was the fact they don't pay you. It seems that maybe there is a bit of learning curve at the beginning, and once you get over that it seems to be fine. So I guess once you get over the bottlenecks your set, and again you do see a paycheck!
